A pair of stylish circular tripod side tables by Arbus, with single drawer to the frieze and tapering capped legs.

André Arbus (1903-1969) was a French furniture designer and architect, responsible for reintroducing a degree of neo-classicism to the designs of his generation

. In 1925, he exhibited at the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts, where he won the silver medal for a lowboy he designed with Marc Saint-Saëns. Meanwhile, his work was also exhibited at the Société des artistes décorateurs and the Salon d'Automne. By 1932, his work was exhibited at the Galerie des Quatre-Chemins in Paris. He won the Prix Blumenthal in 1934
