An early 19th century French family portrait

With six figures stood around the centrally seated group of three consisting of a father, his wife and daughter.

The father is the focal figure of the group looking directly toward the viewer while his wife and daughter look at him He is dressed in old fashioned clothes for the period but wears the Order of the Fleur de Lys on his coat. To his left a man dressed as a French cavalry office stands with his wife. To the right a clergy man and a boy dressed as young army cadet along with a country gentleman dressed in his hunting clothes with his wife. The group all set in a rural landscape with house in the middle distance and a church in the far distance.
